This photo was labeled by John Eck in 2003 as follows : "James Robert McKay with son Calvin". From bible records, James was born in 1870 and died on 20 April 1896, which creates a problem for this identification, since the older man below is clearly much more than 26 years old. One possiblity is that the boy is 3-year-old Calvin (born 25 Feb 1895) and the man is Angus McKay, Calvin's grandfather, who died on 4 Nov 1912. See Calvin as an older man |
