Vital Record of Rhode Island by James Arnold (Volume 20 page 290, marriages), reads
"Stephen A. Robinson of Newport, and Sarah H. Potter, daughter of Jeremiah, of and at North Kingstown,
American of, February 26, 1822". The editor of this entry also writes that he thinks "North Kingstown"
is an error, and should have read "South Kingstown". On page 588 of volume 8 of this same work:
"Stephen A. Robinson [died] April 12, 1877 aged 78", copied from the records of the
Church of the Ascension, Wakefield.

lists a Stephen Ayrault Robinson, born 1799, died 8 April 1877.

- William Champlin Robinson (Jr.), born 1803, married in 1827 (alt 1832) to Abby B. Shaw, died 1871 aged 67.
Vital Record of Rhode Island by James Arnold (Volume 21 page 290, marriages), reads
"William Champlin Robinson and Abby Brown Shaw, daughter of Josiah C., both of and at Newport, by
Rev. Dr. Patten, July 23, 1827". However, on page 474 of volume 8 (marriages) in this same large volume, reads,
"William Champlin Robinson and Abby Brown Shaw, April 1832".
