GRADE SUMMARY for McFarland's MATH 250

Starting Fall 2007, the UWW grading scheme allows the use of (plus) and (minus) grades such as B+ and C-.
Before Fall 2007, the only allowed grades were A, B, C, D, and F.
Use of the new scheme has resulted in a very slight rise in overall GP average. However, about a third of all students earned 0.33 more grade points (for example, B+ rather than B), and another third of all students earned 0.33 fewer grade points (for example, B- rather than B), relative to what they would have earned under the older scheme.
