Test Format:
The high school competition will consist of 25 mathematics problems each with a non-negative integer answer. The problems will have a wide range of difficulty. The middle school competition will be similar, but with 15 problems. There will be different questions for middle school teams than for high school teams (although there may be some overlap). The contest will be administered via the Internet. Teams of up to six members each select the time they wish to start the contest. Teams may log in to the contest at any time between 12:00 noon GMT on Monday, April 14, 2008 and 12:00 noon GMT Friday, April 18, 2008, keeping in mind that final answers must be submitted by 12:00 noon GMT Friday. Once the team logs in to the contest, the problems will become available on the contest web site. Teams fill in answers to the questions over the next 60 (MS) or 90 (HS) minutes following their start time, but no later than 12:00 noon GMT Friday, April 18, 2008. See official rules for details. A five problem practice contest is provided.
