Since 1997, Pivot has been used world-wide for solving linear programming problems by the simplex method. However, with the recent increase in use of 64-bit operating systems, the venerable Visual Basic version of the product has become out-of-date. As a result, Pivot has been re-written in Java. This should allow Mac and Linux users to use this product, as well as being compatible with newer versions of Microsoft's Windows OS.
|Pivot 3.0||Written in Java, version 3.0 of Pivot should be compatible with all modern systems supporting Java.
This version has been tested using JRE 1.5 and 1.6.
