Pivot

Simplex Method Linear Programming Software

Since 1997, Pivot has been used world-wide for solving linear programming problems by the simplex method. However, with the recent increase in use of 64-bit operating systems, the venerable Visual Basic version of the product has become out-of-date. As a result, Pivot has been re-written in Java. This should allow Mac and Linux users to use this product, as well as being compatible with newer versions of Microsoft's Windows OS.

Versions available

Pivot 3.0 Written in Java, version 3.0 of Pivot should be compatible with all modern systems supporting Java. This version has been tested using JRE 1.5 and 1.6.
