The 1911 Irish census lists "Robert Guy Clements", age 31, living with sister Charlotte (age 28) living in Fernaghandrum, Cecil,
County Tyrone. The same census lists Robert Orr Clements, age 57, living with wife Jane Patricia in house 10 Beagh, Dervghroy,
County Tyrone. Neither a claim nor a denial of children is entered for Robert Orr Clements in 1911, but after his wife Jane, the
word "none" is written for "number of children born alive". For the 1901 census, "Robt Guy Clements", age 21, his sister
Charlotte (age 18), and another sister Mary , age 28, are living in Fernaghandrum, Cecil, County Tyrone, with father James Clements.
Though in 1901, "Robert Orr Clements" (age 47) is not listed, there is a "Robs Orr Clements" (age 7) living with parents Charles and
Maggie Clements, and grandparents James Clement (age 89) and Mary Clements (age 87) in Fernaghandrum, Cecil, County Tyrone.
Furthermore, these two Clements families (in 1901) are living in adjacent houses ! For the 1911 census, "Robs Orr Clements"
(age now 16 and named "Robt Clements") is living with parents Charles and Maggie, and 6 siblings (grandparents now gone) in the
same community. |
