Nothing is written on either photo; both prints made in Sandwich by Orr. Notice the man's unusual lack of ear lobe. The early position of these photos in the album suggests these are important people in the Cox family. Pat Stephenson owns a copy of the right image and identifies it as her great-grandmother Mary (Emma) Adams, and recognizes the left image as Walter G. Adams. Clothing style is late 1870's. Copies of these same prints appear in the Hannah Landis album. |
