JOHN J. NENNO and JOHN N. NENNO (half brothers, sharing a father)

Right photo found by Eileen Jurgenson at New Ulm Historical Society, probably donated by Albert Nenno, who (late in life) spoke with John J. Nenno Mary Lou and Bob Nenno claim (in 2003) that the right photo is not their grandfather, which leaves the identity of the man uncertain, but is likely John N. Nenno (Jr.), second son of Margaretha (Lynch) Nenno, who would be 24 years old in 1900 (when this clothing would be 10 years old).

Nenno would be 31 years old   Right photo: probably JOHN N. NENNO (Jr.), dedicated "John Nenno, brother of Nick J. Nenno Employee of the Schell Brewery". It is likely that "Nick J. is "John J." (1868-1937), since "Nick Nenno" (1822-1876) had no brother "John". Leslie Bellais of the Wisconsin Historical Society dates the clothing 1880-1890, possibly worn by conservative men until 1895.
