• Thomas Alexander M^cFarland, born in Armaloughy townland, Carnteel parish, near Ballygawley, Northern Ireland on 29 December 1872, naturalized 29 Nov 1919, married to Sara Burdick on 30 November 1905 in Milwaukee, died 13 June 1956 and buried in Great Falls, Montana He was 5'11" tall. His birth registry is grouped with 1873 births (below).

• Sara Francis Burdick, born 25 July, 1880, in Milwaukee; attended grade school through 4th grade in the Town of Lake (now Milwaukee) near the Burdick family farm; she was 4' 11" tall, probably bi-polar (at least late in life). A description of Sara's early married life was written by her son Tom. After moving to Great Falls, Sara supported her family selling door-to-door. Sara had a stroke in San Diego while visiting a sister, was driven to her brother Eugene in Oakland where she had another stroke, was hospitalized and died in Oakland on 20 Feb 1957. Sara is buried in Highland cemetery, Great Falls, with her husband.
• Thomas Frederick M^cFarland, born 12 September 1906 in Milwaukee, married Dorathy Landis on 3 July 1936; worked for the Milwaukee Journal newspaper from 1935 to 1971; died (cremated) 23 April 1989 in Phoenix, Arizona: 3 children (Thomas Landis, Patricia Adele, and Brian Douglas). He sufferred from psoriasis on his legs.Video available (CD only)
• Eugene Russell M^cFarland, born 29 Dec 1908 according to a list of birthdays created by his mother and copied by his sister Alberta, married Catherine Kalafat, with no children (Kate did not want children, but seemed to enjoy being with the children of others). In later life lived in Oakland (worked at Safeway) and San Mateo, Calif (234 Elm St.), moving to Hillsdale Manor assisted living in 2001; Eugene died 16 July 2002 in San Mateo, California; Kate died on 10 October 2003. Gene is buried at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, California, with his wife, Kate, in Crypts 21 and 22, Tier 5, Unit 7, Section 2
• Eileen Marion M^cFarland, born in Milwaukee on 16 March 1911, raised by her aunt Nell (Ellen) when Sara became ill, later estranged from this family, moved to Los Angeles and used the name Sharon Parker starting about 1941, after marrying in 1938 to Wesley DeWitt Griffin, later divorced. She had two daughters (Toni and Bobbe). Toni, born 3 August 1941, married a Mr. Prescott, having one now-married son Robby. Bobbe, born 3 August 1944, married Ed Johnson, having two children Barbara Ann (born 1964?) and Chris (born 1966). None of these people had apparently not been told of their links with the McFarland family, but Bobbe's daughter Barbara dug into her history, and published her family history on the familytreemaker website. Eileen died 25 June 2001. Shortly before her death on 25 June 2001, Eileen indicated that she had composed a letter revealing her correct family connections, but this letter has not been found, and probably was never written. • Alberta Lucille M^cFarland, born 17 May 1918, married Joseph John Horan on 6 July 1941 (Joe died 3 October 1965), 4 children (Joyce Elaine, Janis Mae, Roseanne Jean, and Patricia Lynn), living in Great Falls, Montana in January 2003; Alberta has written a family history, and saved many family records and photos which she made available for this album.
