Landis Illian) introduced his sister Adele to a client and her future husband, William
W. Landis. When Leo discovered he had a half brother John J., Leo visited John's son
Bob and Bob's wife Mary Lou. Leo died 26 June 1971 in Mankato, Minnesota. Great-grandson

(this date from Scott Friend) or March 1987 (this date from Steve or Pat Lenertz). Great-grandson Scott Friend suggested that Cora had a sister
Pat who lived to age 103, but no such sister is known to Patti Stoll, who has researched
the Kutz family. Patti Stoll is a grand-daughter of Cora's brother, John Albert Kutz.

Mildred died 12 Aug 1986.

- Donald Spotts, married to Carol, with three sons : Kim, Mike, Dane
- Dianne Adele (Spotts), married Dale Norman Friend (Dale born 25 Dec 1958), having two
children : Lisa (born 1967, died of Reyes Syndrome in Kenosha,
Wisconsin, summer 1974, buried with her grandmother Mildred in
Minnesota), and Scott, born 24 April 1969.

Norman was my 2nd cousin twice removed. Here's how...
My great-great grandfather Peter Tolf had a sister named Frida. Frida married Carl/Charles
Youngberg in 1887. Their daughter Myrtle married Joseph Friend in 1913. Myrtle and Joseph's
son Norman J was born in late 1914.
