Two objects found in father's bedroom at 87 W. State Ave.
in Phoenix, I believe in the top drawer of a gray dresser near
the door. Nearby objects were some indian jewelry which was
left in place. The watch is "gold", which means gold-
filled, in which a relatively thick outer layer of gold
covers an even thicker layer of less valuable metal.
Nothing is written on the watch, as compared with two other
watches found in grandma's bedroom,
which were inscribed with names from Grandpa Landis' family.
These objects were likely property of Lou Finkleman, 2nd
husband (late in life) of Dorathy (Landis) McFarland, and
the objects were returned to Brian McFarland about 2004 |
