these in Feb 2000. The girl (Louise) was born June 1881, the boy (William) born Oct 1887.
The woman (right) is Alice Louise (Cox) Landis, mother of both children. Thus,
date is about 1890 (assuming Louise is about age 9 in this photo) |

Dedication on back of picture reads "Esther Kellog,
(daugh) Ruth Kellog Peterson, Adele Landis, Louise
Landis Allyn, L.A. Calif, Easter 1938". According to
a history of the Allyn mansion
written by its current owners, Esther Kellog is
probably JP Allyn's half sister (sharing a father).
Ruth is Esther's daughter. Car is a
Lincoln Zephyr, according to Jeanne Illian. |
