- Frederick Gustave Brinkmeyer (Gustav), born 19 June 1860 in Lippe Detmold, Germany. Emigrated to Hubbard, Iowa, in 1883.
In 1884, he married Minna Dubberke, and this couple had 10 children, 9 living to adulthood:
Arthur, Martha Anders, Emil, Paul, Minnie Hendrickson, Dora Klemme, Lydia Hendrickson, Elnora Maley, and Harry.
A son Otto died in an accident while felling trees in his early adulthood. (probably on his parents' farm in Hubbard, Iowa).
Gustav died at noon, 28 June 1933.

felling trees in his early adulthood. (probably on his parents' farm in Hubbard, Iowa).
Wilhelmina died at 7 PM, 6 June 1941.
- Gustav Simon Mannetter, son of Fred Mannetter and Louise Rasche, was born 14 February 1868 (alternate 16 February 1868) in
Lippe Detmold, Germany (alternate Stemen, Germany). At the age of 18, he emigrated to America, arriving on 26 March 1886) with several companions,
settling to Hubbard, Iowa,
and married Louise Drawe in 1890. The children of this couple include Alvina (Mrs. Herman Hanson), Alfred,
Olga (Mrs. Wm. Below), Louise Amelia (Mrs. Paul Brinkmeyer), Martha (Mrs. George Dubberke), Elnora (Mrs. Ernest Ziebell), Walter, Gustave,
Louise (Mrs. Russell Bocke), Otto. Gustav died at 4 a.m., 15 December 1951.

additional children. As of July 2010, Joan and John live in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Joan was videotaped in 2010, and has clear memories
of her earlier life with no sign of dementia, though several of Joan's siblings have been less fortunate.
