Personal Information and photo links below :
- Ole Torkildsen Indre Eide (1599-1688). Married Marita (other names unknown). More data may be seen at
an alternate Norwegian website
- Mogens Torkildsen Ytre Eide. From him descend: Albert Vaksdal and likewise Bastian Fyllingen's wife.
- Baste Gabrielsen Fyllingen, born 1814, living in 1875
- Torkild Olsen Indre Eide (1654-1691). If we believe the written dates, this man's father was age 55
when he was born. Married in 1680 to Kari Haldorsdatter Storseth Hosanger (1661-1741). Christian M. Olsen's
tree gives this man's birth date as 1659, but two alternate websites state "1654"
- Kari Haldorsdatter Storseth Hosanger (1661-1741), daughter of Haldor Andersen Storset (1608-1680) and
Kari Storset (1619-1679) (source: website
Arnfrids anetavle )
- Haldor Torkildsen Storseth (1682 – 1751) – married 16 Nov 1704 with Marita Olesdatter Raknes (Martha)
at Hamre kirke (Hamre Church). From 1713 they lived on Bysheim (a farm). Christian M. Olsen's tree
shows a son Jakob Haldorsen Bysheim, but an alternate website
(
Arnfrids anetavle) shows also a daughter Kari Haldorsdatter Bysheim, from whom the author
of this alternate source is apparently descended.
- Marita Olesdatter Raknes (Martha), father Ole Olsen Åsheim Raknes (1630-?), mother
Agate Jacobsdatter Raknes (1620-1709), this data (and more) from Christian Olsen and also
a Norwegian website
- Jakob Haldorsen Bysheim (1715-1795), born at Nedre Bysheim, Osterøy, Hordaland. Married to
Kari Larsdatter Raknes in 1742. More data can be seen at
an alternate Norwegian website
- Kari Larsdatter Raknes (1709-1774). Married to Jakob Haldorsen Bysheim in 1742.
Christian Olsen's written tree
states that this couple had 4 children, of whom 3 appear named, namely :
[1]Haldor Jacobsen Bysheim, [2] Ingeborg Jacobsdatter Bysheim, and [3] Martha Jacobsdatter Bysheim.
B.G. Kvamme
in Norway claims that this couple had a daughter Helena (or Helene), but this information was put on
their website in May 2000, and the given email address is not valid in 2006.
The tree drawn by Christian Olsen clearly states Kari's death occuring in 1744, which would
create a big problem for her child Martha (born 1749). However,
an alternate source of
information in Norway gives her death year as 1774, which fits well with other data provided by
Christian M. Olsen.
- Baste Andersen Reigstad (1742-after 1807). Married Martha Jacobsdatter Bysheim in 1764, having 7 children
- Martha Jacobsdatter Bysheim (1749-1807), married Baste Andersen Reigstad in 1742, having 7 children.
Martha's name (in spite of the change in spelling from Jakob to Jacob) would suggest she
is a daughter of Jakob Haldorsen Bysheim, but she was born 5 years after the named death date
of Kari Larsdatter Raknes, Jakob's only named wife. To resolve this inconsistency, a second wife
for Jakob, a missing ancestor, or a change in Kari's death date would be needed.
- Ingeborg Jacobsdatter Bysheim, came to Leknes. [From her] descends Editor Mons M. Mjelde
(1862-1924) and Colonel (?) Lars Mjelde (1947-1948). Further headmaster in Kristiansand
(Norway), teacher Baste Midtgård. See comments by Anders Mjelde
- Joris Basteson Bysheim, not named in the tree drawn by Christian Olsen, hypothetical son of
Baste Andersen Reigstad and a father of Gabriel Jorisen Hopsdal.
- Gabriel Jorisen Hopsdal, later known as Gabriel Jorisen Fyllinger, son of the hypothetical missing
ancestor Joris Basteson Bysheim. There is disagreement over whether the middle name should
be Jorisen (as seems clearly written by Christian Olsen) or the more Norwegian "Torisen".
