- William Walter Landis, born 22 Oct 1888, attended Racine College
(a private high school in Racine, Wisconsin), married 20 Nov 1911 to
Adele Mary Nenno; during the 1940s lived on Apple Tree Lane just north
of Greenfield Avenue at the south edge of what is now Brookfield near Milwaukee, died 18 Sept 1952 in Milwaukee, buried with his wife
Adele in Wis. Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wis., Mausoleum Sac. "T" . Wife (Adele Nenno) died 3 Oct 1980 in Illinois. Two daughters,
(Dorathy and Jeanne). William Walter Landis left
a diary as a 13-year-old.
- Adele Mary Nenno, born 27 June 1893, married 20 Nov 1911 to
William Walter Landis; during the 1940s lived on Apple Tree Lane just north
of Greenfield Avenue at the south edge of what is now Brookfield near Milwaukee, and in the 1970s lived at 534 Mill Road in Wildwood,
Illinois with her daughter Jeanne, where she died 3 October 1980; buried with her husband
William in Wis. Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wis., Mausoleum Sac. "T" . Adele had 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grand children.
- Dorathy Adele Landis, born 6 January 1913 at home, in
Austin, Illinois (=Chicago), married 3 July 1936 to Thomas F.
McFarland in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, lived on
Stickney Avenue in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin from 1941 to 1971, retiring to Phoenix
in 1972. Dorathy died about 4 PM Halloween, 31 October 2003 in the home of her
son Brian, where she lived since a stroke in 2000. Dorathy's WILL is available.

- Jeanne Carroll Landis, born 4 March 1926 in Mankato, Minnesota, married
22 Dec 1944 to Frank Illian, and this couple raised 3 daughters (Carroll, Susan, and Sally). Jeanne was widowed in 1969,
by married again 11 July 1981 to Harold Plotz, with no further children. After 1981, Harold and Jeanne lived for a while
in a Minnesota cabin, but after Harold died in early 2000, Jeanne returned to northern Illinois, living
in Gurnee, Illinois as of January 2003. After broking her hip in 2011, Jeanne moved to assisted living in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
Jeanne died 6 August 2015 at her residence.
